When a tour company found itself sheltering-in-place in the Himalayas, it organized a relief effort to feed the locals — two legged and four.

Talked to Mom an hour ago. We half-joked that seemingly all news nowadays is about the Coronapocalypse. People around the globe are feeling lost, confused, depressed, or worse; the world has hit the pause button. Yes, we’re working from home. But is nothing else happening? What did we do, think about, read about, or watch just six short weeks ago? Do you remember the impeachment? Wasn’t there a presidential primary going on?

If you explore, though, you will find much good is happening. More is being done and created than a nonstop cornucopia of quickly forgettable memes, a handful of which are actually funny.

19th Nervous Breakdown

It’s impossible to comprehend how far the tentacles of the pandemic have spread in just a few months. I don’t mean the actual virus. The fallout from it. We must trust that empathy, like love, arises from a bottomless well. Now more than ever, we all need to tap into that well. Have you noticed, toilet paper notwithstanding, that folks appear nicer all of a sudden?
